Your $$$ + Our Silly Stunts = Saving the Lesbians!
Hi there. We are a lesbian couple living in CT and have a daughter in college and a son in middle school.
The purpose of this blog is to help us keep our house.
Before we beg you to give us your hard-earned money, let us give you some background on how our situation became desperate enough for us to create this blog:
Jess has been employed for over 2 years at the same place and makes a decent living. She went out on leave for breast-reduction surgery (due to back/neck pain and nerve damage) and was *supposed to be* collecting short-term disability insurance benefits while she recovered. Well, the powers-that-be at the disability office decided that 5 days worth of pay at 60% was sufficient for Jess. (I mean, she only had a few pounds lopped off of her chest resulting in over 18" of incisions...) The appeals process can take up to 6 months and our mortgage isn't going to wait that long.
To make matters even more difficult, right before we found out that the disability wasn't going to pay more than 5 days, Tina became unemployed from her 50K a year job and has been searching daily for work. She's trying to stay positive and is looking for ANY job that will pay at this point. We'll keep you posted on how that goes.
This is a break down of what we owe:

If you put some money in our paypal account, we'll do whatever silly thing you ask of us on video, and post it here. It can be interactive, and that way we are actually working for the bucks!!
This is not a scam, we are real people who have reached a point of desperation. We aren't trying to get rich and will not accept any donations once we get to the point where we don't need the help any longer.
